Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

These Ministers reverently assist the celebrant of the Mass in serving the Body and Blood of Christ to worshippers and also to those confined at home, in hospitals or nursing homes. Diocean and parish level training is required for candidates at least 21 years of age. Commitment is to serve frequently for weekend Masses as assigned, for weekday Masses if available. Meeting for prayer and spiritial awareness and growth in this ministry is promoted.
