Computer Technology Center Ministry
The ministry is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers for the classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. You may volunteer for one of both nights. Familiarity with Microsoft 2007 is a plus, but not required. If you can give time to this ministry, please contact Lorni at lorni@cox.net or 703-845-2824.
Food Pantry Help Needed
Every day volunteers collect food from up to 10 different locations. Could you help? We still need a volunteer to collect bread from the Bailey's Crossroads Panera at 8 PM on Sunday evenings. Perhaps you could work as a team with a friend, alternating weeks. Please call Ubaldo Cisneros at 703-820-7111.

The Bloom supermarket in Annandale is a daily donor to our food pantry. This Christmas season they are also collecting bags of food to donate to our food pantry. Please consider shopping there (on Columbia Pike) and donating a bag of food directly to our food pantry. You'll have an opportunity to bring a smile to someone's face while you do your grocery shopping!

By cutting out and returning to School and/or the Parish Office Campbell labels for education; General Mills box tops for education; and Tysons food labels.
A Warm Welcome to New Parishioners
Registering at St. Anthony’s will help you become an active part of our Parish. It will allow you to help us financially by receiving and using envelopes, or giving electronically. It will also help us inform you of special events and activities pertaining to a wide variety of subjects. If you are registered and active, we are able to issue sponsor certificates or letters of recommendation. All you need to do is come by the Parish Office—Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM or Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM—and fill out a form.

A warm welcome is extended to new parishioners! New members can register at the Parish Office during office hours (9 AM to 9 PM, Monday—Friday, plus 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays). You may also print the registration form from this web site and mail in your completed form; go to the registration page for more details. Parish registration is required for reception of the Sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation and Matrimony) and letters of eligibility to serve as godparent or sponsor or to confirm presence. It is also a great way to learn about the Parish and its many activities, as well as support the Parish and its ministries.

Sabemos que cada domingo son muchas las personas que atienden a nuestra Iglesia por primera vez, de aquí surge la necesidad de explicar algunos de los beneficios que ustedes adquieren por el hecho de registrarse en ella. Dicha registración es necesaria para recibir los sacramentos de Bautismo, Confirmación y Matrimonio, así como cartas para ser padrinos o para confirmar su asistencia a nuestra Iglesia, - cartas de Inmigración u otras semejantes -. Es también una forma de enterarse más acerca de la parroquia y de sus actividades, así como el poder ayudar a la sostenimiento de la misma y sus ministerios. No existe ninguna razón para no hacerlo, incluso si es una persona indocumentada. El estatus migratorio no tiene que ver nada con la pertenencia a la Iglesia, ni le perjudicará en absoluto, al contrario, serán muchos los beneficios que usted tendrá si lo hace. Snow / Inclement Weather Closings
St. Anthony of Padua Parish follows Fairfax County Public Schools policy regarding closings due to inclement weather. Cancellation of Religious Education Classes will be announced on the parish voicemail message by calling 703-820-7111 on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
This includes the Parish and School Meeting Rooms, evening and weekend activities. If Fairfax County closes evening or weekend activities due to inclement weather, our meeting room facilities will also be closed.
